This Privacy Policy explains how KörperForce Human Performance, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you use the KörperForce HRV Dashboard, its biofeedback games and our websites (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID. We store your plan (Free, Individual or Clinic), clinic seat count, and app preferences.
Health and biometric data
When you record a session or play a game, the Service collects physiological data from your sensor, including:
- heartbeat timing (beat-to-beat intervals), heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) measures such as rMSSD;
- skin conductance and pulse (blood volume pulse) signals from a Lightstone or similar sensor, including the raw sensor channels;
- breathing pacer settings, session markers, game results and scores;
- notes, athlete or client names and other details you choose to enter.
This data can reveal information about your health and stress. We treat it as sensitive and use it only as described in this policy. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.
Clinic and team data
Clinics, coaches and teams can create records for their clients or athletes and record their sessions. The clinic decides what is recorded and is responsible for getting their clients' consent. We process that data on the clinic's behalf.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs so we can show and manage your plan.
Usage and device information
Our public web pages use Google Analytics to measure visits (for example, pages viewed, approximate location from IP address, device and browser type). The app also stores some preferences (such as sound, music and game settings) in your browser's local storage.
We do not collect your precise location.
2. How we use your information
- to provide the Service: record and play back sessions, calculate readings, run games, show dashboards, reports and leaderboards;
- to manage your account, plan and payments;
- to send service emails, such as a welcome email and important account or policy notices;
- to respond to support requests;
- to keep the Service secure and fix problems;
- to understand how our website is used and improve the Service (using analytics on the public pages).
We will only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Services we use
We use these providers to run the Service. They process data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy terms:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud: sign-in (Google Sign-In), database storage (Cloud Firestore), server functions and website hosting. Data is stored in the United States.
- Stripe: payments and subscription management.
- Email delivery: account emails are sent through Firebase's Trigger Email extension and an email delivery provider.
- Google Analytics: visitor statistics on our public web pages.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information or your health data. We share information only:
- with the service providers listed above, to operate the Service;
- with people you choose: for example, when you share an athlete's records with another account, or when a clinic you belong to views your sessions;
- with authorized KörperForce staff, when needed to provide support or keep the Service running;
- with legal or regulatory authorities when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public;
- as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Google Sign-In and Google Analytics use cookies and similar technologies. The app uses your browser's local storage for preferences. You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings; some features (such as staying signed in) may not work without them.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and session data for as long as your account is active, so you can see your history and trends. If you delete a session, athlete or your account, we delete the related data from our active systems within 30 days; copies in backups are removed on the backup schedule. We may keep limited records (such as payment records) where the law requires it.
7. Your rights and choices
You can ask us to:
- access or get a copy of your data (session data can also be exported as CSV from the app);
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your account and all associated data;
- stop using your information for analytics or marketing.
To make a request, email info.korperforce@gmail.com from the address on your account. We will respond within 45 days. If you are a client or athlete of a clinic, contact your clinic first; we will help them respond. Colorado residents and others may have additional rights under the Colorado Privacy Act or other state laws, and we will honor those rights where they apply.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information: data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by Google Cloud, and database rules limit each account to its own data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your Google account secure, and tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Users under 18 should use the Service only with a parent's or guardian's consent and supervision. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other websites
Our website may link to third-party websites and stores. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by email or in the app).
